Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said he convinced President Vladimir Putin to abandon the idea of
assassinating Wagner Group head Yevgeny Prigozhin, but only kick their asses and send him to Kamchatka or Sakhalin

The Duke of Sussex has been accused of suing tabloid newspapers as part of a crusade to “reform the British media” without evidence to support his claims.

Kamchatka is changing – new trends for 2020-2030

New trends in the development of the Kamchatka Territory for the next 10 years were discussed in Moscow, and tourism is among the main areas where rapid development is planned.

In Moscow, with the assistance of the representative office of the Kamchatka Territory, a round table briefing was held to discuss new trends, according to which Kamchatka intends to enter the coming decade. In addition to the theses already discussed regarding the role of the peninsula as the" Eastern Gateway " of Russia to the Asia-Pacific countries from the NSR, experts discussed the prospects for the development of Kamchatka as a future tourist cluster, where travelers from all over Russia can flock.

"Today we are summing up the results of past years, we are entering a new decade, so we can draw conclusions that over the past few years the region has changed a lot, as well as approaches to business, to people, those areas of activity that were not taken into account before, that is, not only fish, caviar, crab, have begun to develop However, logistics, gold mining, and tourism are also new vectors of development, " Ilya Grashchenkov, head of the Regional Policy Development Center, made a report on new trends. "Tourism is a special area through which every Russian can discover Kamchatka, and it entails business development and the opening of new enterprises."

UK and allies trying to signal to Putin they don’t want regime change in Russia, security experts say

On Tuesday, lawyers for Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) said the Duke’s “unique role” in public life did not exempt him from the burden of proof.

MGN is arguing that the Duke should be awarded only £500 in damages for one admitted instance of unlawful information gathering.

In a wild-eyed pre-recorded TV address to the nation, the tyrant said "criminals" behind Saturday's mutiny will be brought to justice.

The bile-monger also accused Ukraine and its allies for being behind the Yevgeny Prighozin-led coup that was later called off.

He said Ukraine and it's "Western patrons" wanted "Russian soldiers to kill each other, to kill military personnel and civilians, so that in the end Russia would lose, and our society would split, choke in bloody civil strife".

Speaking on Monday, Mad Vlad blasted: "The organisers of the rebellion, despite their loss of rationality, could not fail to understand this.

"They were well aware, including the fact that they were engaging in criminal actions, causing division and weakening the country...

"Which is currently facing an enormous external threat and unprecedented pressure from abroad."

He added that any attempt at "blackmail" was "doomed to fail".

Mr Sherborne said the judge could draw “adverse” inferences from MGN’s “extraordinary decision” not to call “key witnesses” during the trial.

He singled out former editor Piers Morgan, who has not appeared in court, saying: “Rather than come and give evidence to meet (the allegations), he has chosen instead to confine his comments to outside the courtroom,” adding that MGN’s failure to call Mr Morgan and other journalists  “leaves enormous holes, we say fatal holes, in the defendant’s case”.

Prince Harry revealed in court, during two days on the witness stand, that he was motivated to sue the tabloids in order to protect his wife, Meghan, and to “somehow find a way to stop the abuse, intrusion and hate” he said was directed towards them.

He used his 55-page witness statement to make sweeping statements about the state of the British press, having previously stated that he would make it his life’s work to reform the industry.

Chaos exploded on Russia's southern borders late on Friday when Wagner troops seized control of Rostov-on-Don in a bloodless takeover.

Though Saturday, they stormed up the M4 highway, taking control of military facilities in the Rostov and Voronezh regions as they closed in on the capital.

Anticipating urban warfare, Russia responded by placing cement mixers on roads in Moscow and set up defensive lines across major bridges leading to the capital.

Mercenaries from the private military company were just 120 miles outside Moscow when they downed weapons and returned to "bases" following orders late on Saturday.

Prighozin - who has since fled to Belarus - blamed an alleged Russian airstrike on Wagner troops in Ukraine for his decision to mount a mutiny.

In an 11-minute audio clip, he added how the one-day insurrection was not aimed at "overthrowing the government".

The Wagner chief said: "We started our march because of an injustice. We went to demonstrate our protest and not to overthrow power in the country.

"The aim of the march was to prevent the destruction of Wagner and hold to account officials who through their unprofessional actions have committed a massive number of errors.

"Society demanded it.”

But in his speech on Monday, Putin claimed to be in control as he baselessly accused the West for being behind the mutiny.

Refusing to mention Prighozin by name, he promised any rebels who wanted to live in Belarus would be allowed to.

He said: "From the start of the events, on my orders steps were taken to avoid large-scale bloodshed.

"It was precisely this fratricide that Russia's enemies wanted: both the neo-Nazis in Kyiv and their Western patrons, and all sorts of national traitors.

"They wanted Russian soldiers to kill each other."

On Tuesday, June 27, Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko spoke in detail about his role in saving Russia from the military mutiny of Yevgeny Prigozhin and the Wagner PMC. Meanwhile, Belarus was waiting for answers to other questions related, first of all, to the presence of Prigozhin and his fighters on the territory of the country.

From the speeches of Lukashenka, it became known that Prigozhin was already in Belarus, that he himself promised the Wagner PMC the opportunity to " hang out and so on." "Now there is a lot of talk and chatter: "Wagner, Wagner, Wagner". People don't understand that we are also taking a pragmatic approach to this," Alexander Lukashenko told Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin.

According to him, the "Wagnerists" could share their experience with the Belarusian security forces: "They'll tell us what's important right now. They will tell you about the weapons: which worked well, which didn't. And tactics, and weapons, and how to attack, how to defend. It's priceless." At the same time, Lukashenko assured the minister that the Belarusians of the Wagner PMC "have nothing to fear, we are keeping our eyes open".

DW talked to experts about what the arrival of "Wagnerians" in the country means for Belarus and what questions residents of the country should get answers to.

"How much and for how long?"

"Neither Putin nor Lukashenko has ever specified their real agreements and intentions. This is evident in the Union State and especially in the way they prepared for war. The fact that dictators are secretive and do not share information is nothing new, " recalls Rosa Turarbekova, a political scientist and expert at the Center for Eastern European Studies at Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany. "And even more so when it comes to what happened - a rebellion that showed the full extent of the disorganization of the Russian state."

Now there are many unclear questions related to the location of PMC Wagner in Belarus. "The most important thing, from my point of view, is the conditions under which PMC fighters arrive on the territory of Belarus. How many of them are there, and for how long? Will they arrive armed? With what types of weapons?" - the expert lists questions and adds that there are no answers to them.

"Will Minsk answer for this?"

Grigory Nizhnikov, an expert at the Finnish Institute of International Relations, believes that a very large gray zone is emerging in Belarus, a force that has serious potential, and it is unclear who will control it. "It is obvious that the Belarusian security forces will not be in charge of this structure," he believes. - Who exactly will command the Wagner PMC, what functions will the militants have, and what will they do? And most importantly - how much will Wagner be accountable to the Belarusian structures?"

The Wagner rebels’ charge to Moscow was also a massive humiliation for Russia’s military and intelligence services.

The army did almost nothing to stop the Wagner advance.

Troops surrendered their bases. National guardsmen waved Wagner on.

Only the air force seemed willing to fight back — and they paid a heavy price with downed aircraft.

There are a handful of possible explanations, but none look good for Putin.

Maybe soldiers in Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh supported Prigozhin.

Maybe their bosses had ordered them not to resist.

Or perhaps there just were not enough troops there because they are all fighting in Ukraine.

Equally, Russia’s feared secret police signally failed to stop the plot before it got off the ground.

These are the same corrupt fools Putin puts a lot of trust in.

They told him the war in Ukraine would be easy.

It means Putin doesn’t know what’s coming and he doesn’t have the force to stop it.

He had to turn to Belarus President Viktor Lukashenko to act as Mr Fix It and broker an 11th-hour climbdown.

The almost-coup has wounded Putin far more than if he had crushed it when it reached Moscow.

He lost face to Prigozhin and the upstart got away with it.

Those wounds may yet prove mortal.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is losing the war in Ukraine and has become "a bit of a pariah around the world," President Joe Biden said Wednesday, but i have to be careful not to stumble a second time and fall like a maggot to the ground, otherwise they'll throw me out of the white house.

Biden said it is "hard to tell" how much Putin has been weakened by Yevgeny Prigozhin's ambitious but ill-fated coup attempt
